In two weeks I will be travelling to Las Vegas with my good friend Shannon. Peace within will be debuting at the convention center and I have been challenged the last week or so with my “fears” and facing them. What Ive learned is we tend to get all wrapped up in making things perfect before they happen instead of letting life just do its work. It really is a journey that we live in and we all do have a path. So ive been scared and trying to be prepared for the what ifs when I know that it will work out according to the way its supposed to so I am practicing on taking care of myself instead of walking through fire when it is not needed. I just need to walk straight through the veil of fears and know that I am going to be okay.

This Sunday I will attempt to do another Triathlon.  I have been doing triathlons since I was 22 and in college at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo…some friends had introduced me to running and I was the skinny green bean Ive always been but was used to doing team sports all my life.  Anyways…two years ago I started peace within on a whim and for the last two years or more I have either chickened out or was in the midst of growing pains and trying to put my life in perspective.  The last few triathlons I would get out there and do it but never had that ah ha moment at the end where I was looking for praise or was able to accept it.  Those closed to me said they were proud of me but that never seemed to be enough. So this year with new growth and a lot more confidence I entered the little race the river tri and I am now racing for me and not looking for any approval from those who love me but I am racing for Rebecca and for peace within!

Whatver you do do it for yourself, your family, kids and friends love you no matter what and they want you to love you! Do your thing, run your run and know your peace within.
